Some students today explored UofT and others took in culture and art at the Royal Ontario Museum. However, a group of twenty students spent the the day getting a little wet paddling one of Canada’s most historically embedded modes of transportation. The students paddled on lake Ontario to Toronto Island, experiencing the surreal feeling of being surrounded by nature while at the same time witnessing the beautiful city skyline. After taking a break and tossing the ball around on the island, we headed back to mainland via ferry, relaxing and letting the breeze and views wind us down.
